Terms and Conditions

The terms that apply when you engage Project Simple to design, build or manage a website for your business.

About these terms

These terms apply to all website design, development, Google Ads and related work we provide. By accepting a quote or paying a deposit, you agree to these terms.

Quotes

Every quote is fixed and based on the scope we agree with you. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Work outside the agreed scope, such as extra pages or features, will be quoted separately before we start it.

Your responsibilities

To keep your project on track, we ask that you:

Provide content, images, logins and feedback in a timely way
Make sure anything you supply is yours to use, or that you have permission
Review and approve your website before it goes live

Payments

Website projects are paid as a deposit to book your project in, with the balance due before your website goes live. The details, and how refunds work, are set out in your quote and our Terms of Service.

Revisions and approval

We include revisions as part of the build so you’re happy with the result. Once you approve the website for launch, further changes are handled as updates under your ongoing support.

Ownership

Once your project is paid in full, you own the content and design created specifically for your website. We may use third‑party tools, fonts or licensed images, which remain subject to their own licences.

We may show your website in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Hosting, support and maintenance

Ongoing hosting, support and maintenance is only available for websites built by Project Simple. The details of what is included are set out in your package.

Cancelling a project

If you need to cancel, let us know in writing. You will be invoiced for work completed up to that point. Your deposit is non‑refundable once work has started, as explained in our Terms of Service.

Liability

We take care to build reliable, secure websites, but we can’t guarantee the site will be free of interruptions or that it will achieve particular search rankings or sales. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory.
